what a year, 2017.

What a year! Wow that flew by fast. 2017 was incredible, adventurous, full of inspiration, devastating and pretty much every other word to describe something! I definitely grew up a lot this year. I learned what is important and what I want. I found myself this year and that self discovery made me rethink a lot of what I want to do as a career. Many of you don’t know but I am 22 years old I have been in community college for a while now. I just found myself getting more and more lost the further into my career as a student I went. These past couple weeks I have realized that I don’t need a degree at this point in my life. I am done with school, for now. I am a very creative person and someone constantly critiquing the way I do things really was getting old. So now for the next 6 months I will be a full time nanny to two adorable babies. In June, I will start to look for a job either as an event planner or become a real estate agent. I obviously will continue with my true passion which is blogging and sharing what inspires me to all of you!

Below are some of my favorite images from this past year…

My first time seeing a sunflower field. It was just as dreamy as I thought but I was NOT expecting all the bugs. This is a perfect example for doing it for the “gram”.

Spent the weekend in Carmel with Matt(my boyfriend) we came across this magical inn and of course had to stop and take pictures. (Lincoln Green Inn)

Visiting my grandparents in Graeagle. It’s a quaint little town an hour north of Truckee. One of my favorite places in the world.

This past summer we spent a lot of time at wineries. This was at Rodrigue winery (my last name) we figured out that the owner and my grandfather are 3rd cousins. What a small world huh?!

My 22nd birthday trip to Maui. We spent 9 beautiful days there and had the best time.

I got to partner with SO many brands this year. I am so humbled by all the brands that believed in me. Hustle pays off babes! I also changed up my style and how I edit my photos. It was a year of many developments!

All of this would not be possible without YOU! I am forever grateful. Thank you times a million for all the likes, comments, DM’s, follows and clicks! Wishing you the best year yet.

xx,

Rachel
