Happy spring! I wanted to give some style tips on how to transition your wardrobe from winter to spring. Where I live the weather changes pretty much over night. Last week it was cold and rainy and now it’s sunny and almost 80 degrees, not complaining at all! But with that quick change your style may take a hit.
So today I’ll be giving you my personal tips on how to easily transition your style.
Ballet Flats (under $15)
- Many of us fall into a pattern of dark colors during winter, it’s not your fault! So start to add a bit of color into your everyday style. It might be a pink bag or even a bright colored scarf, go with something that says “I’m ready for spring.”
2. It’s still a tad chilly so add a jacket while showing some leg. My favorite transitional look is a spring dress with a denim jacket, classic and cute.
3. Plan to peel off some clothing. It’s 40 degrees in the morning then by lunch it’s shorts weather. Wear a blazer, coat or blanket scarf for the morning but make sure to pay attention to how the outfit looks without the warmer piece.
4. Ease yourself into spring. While packing away your cooler weather clothing keep some on hand. Keep a mix of cold and warm weather pieces handy instead of filling your closet with spring outfits.
