I’ve been taking a little break these past two weeks. Lately I have been feeling a little burnt out and not feeling I was doing the best I could. Blogging is my passion which also turns out is my job. For a while I forgot why I started blogging in the first place and it was just work, work, work. But I wasn’t bringing the passion part out as much as I wanted to. So I had to reevaluate. What I found was so much more inspiration and the love for what I do. In the coming weeks I’m going to be bringing you some really exciting topics and fashion! I wanted to thank you to everyone reaching out and asking if I was okay. It really touched my heart that so many of you care for me.
Taking a break and why it’s okay
- Stress relief. During those past couple months it was high stress for me, deadlines, emails, contracts, meeting those contracts, reaching out to brands, scheduling blogging and school, outfit pictures, editing, finding blog topics, etc. I was feeling overwhelmed and not really enjoying the blogging process.
- Creativity peaks. These past two weeks I have had so much more down time and time to just be. During these times is where most of my creative ideas come.
- Vacation/Stay-cation. Just like the above, vacations are also a really amazing time to find inspiration and to talk to yourself about what has to change when you return.
So for all your burnt out ladies take a break! Even if that’s a trip to Starbucks by yourself or going to Paris for a month!
