blogging tips for the New Year

Thanks for dropping by! Since New Years is coming up and most are thinking what they could do better at, whether that’s fitness, eating healthier or finally doing something you’ve always wanted to do.  I thought I would bring back my list of blogging tips, now I’m not perfect but I have acclaimed some knowledge over these past 3 years!

My sister got me this dress from a boutique in our town but I did find some similar options at Nordstrom

My shoes are from Zara and I found some similar pairs here, here and here

1-Consistency! Posting everyday or every other day sets up a relationship with your followers and makes blogging easier as you go along!

2– Have a theme on Instagram! My theme is soft pastels, feminine ensembles and beautiful things that inspire me. Whether that’s a building, a flower market or even a cup of coffee. Find out what your followers like and go with it!

3-Brainstorm, what your want to talk about in this weeks blog posts. This saves time and makes your posts more enjoyable to write without having to stress write in order to get your post up at 8am.

4-Thanking and commenting back on your posts. This one took me a while to do, your followers want a relationship with you and giving them love back will create just that.

5-Love what you do. Because if you don’t it will be very obvious. If you put your whole heart into your Instagram and blog your followers will obviously see this and most likely come back for more!

xx,

Rachel
