Happy New Years Eve! Tonight we are having a bunch of family friends over to ring in the new year, we will be cooking and cleaning all day but cannot wait! The most gorgeous weather has hit the Bay Area this week so I broke out this gorgeous Ann Taylor mini skirt. It’s actually on sale right now but they are going fast so hurry! Another piece that I just can’t get enough of is turtlenecks. Sometimes they get a bad wrap but with the right accessories it can be quite chic. For Christmas for the second year in a row I decided to gift myself a little something from Chanel. I decided to check out Tradesy, I found these ballet flats in perfect condition for such a great deal! I highly highly recommend buying designer items from here.
When the clock strikes midnight a new year will be upon us. Every year many people will make resolutions and most are really good at keeping them. I am not one of them, for the past couple years mine have always been to start working out or to study more. This year I’m getting serious. At the top of my list is to not cuss, yes I have a mouth like a sailor. My other goal is to self reflect. I want to really truly find my true self this year. Find what I’m passionate about and what I want to become. I also want to start to view my blog as a business and not just a hobby. Not just look at Instagram for hours a day actually pay attention to blog traffic, fine tuning my brand, photography skills and more in depth topics to write about.
As hard as it to make resolutions it’s even harder to keep them. So on this New Years Eve I’m going to give you some tips on how to keep those resolutions. First things first make it realistic. If you know this goal isn’t likely, well you’ll probably not follow through. Second schedule monthly check ins, next time you have a free 5 minutes have a meeting with yourself. Schedule these meetings at the middle of each month so if you feel yourself slacking, you can always bounce back before the month ends.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2017! Thank you to all who have been so supportive of me.
